Spring-Summer 2012 eyewear fashion collection Oliver Peoples looks like a fresh wind from Hollywood. We can present you and retro fans of Oliver Peoples a couple of glasses of the models for coming soon Spring-Summer Season 2012. And some of them.
Rayford. A classic aviator lens shape in a mixed-media design. Technically difficult in its construction, this frame features a metal eyewire surrounded by beveled plastic.
Kosslyn. Inspired by the 1950’s, this feminine cat-eye sunglass is handcrafted of substantial acetate. Featuring a metal ridged plaque on the end piece, notably seen on the Zooey, this detail is both unique and timeless.
NDG Sun. The iconic Nom de Guerre frame is now available as a sunglass. Genuine pins and vintage-inspired color combinations make this frame timeless.
Nanny B. Feminine sunglasses handcrafted of beveled acetate with a 6-base lens curve. The soft rectangular shape is a traditional style perfectly suited for smaller faces. Genuine pins add a subtle detail to the end piece.

Oliver Peoples Eyewear has the success with the FOX new hit comedy ‘New Girl’, starring Zooey Deschanel. A long time friend and supporter of Oliver Peoples , Deschanel was the star of the 2009 Oliver Peoples Eyewear campaign, which included print descriptions and the exciting viral video “To Catch a Tuesday”.

In conjunction with the campaign, Oliver Peoples presented a collaboration frame named “Zooey,” which was co-designed by the starlet and integrated a breath imprint of her ‘kissing lips’ on the lenses. Offered as both a sunglass and an optical frame, the Limited Edition style met with huge success.

“Wacks 51 Cocobolo” glasses were seen on Zooey Deschanel’s character “Jess” in FOX’s hit comedy ‘New Girl’, this feminine design is inspired by the masculine styles worn by Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison.

Oliver Peoples is famous by the vintage eyeglass collections. Glasses TheSoloIst are the iconic eyewear collection, the product of two unisex eyeglasses styles which will be released as the little part in the Resort/Spring 2012 Collection but a strong line in the Soloist Collection.

TheSoloIst vintage eyeglass frames were created with “salvage” ideas. The designer frames look like a result of the many lessons Takahiro Miyashita has learned over the design years The style of glasses is absolutely exclusive and heritage and everyone will really love them!

The two designer frames are presented by optical model and sunglass model. The contrasting colors and acetate top-bar and temples paired with antiqued metal, including brushed silver, pewter, and a new variegated blend of antique gold and silver, create a unique beauty, rich in detail. The optical design frames that Oliver Peoples created with close attention to features and details is rounded P3 lens shape and is available in three classic color combinations.

The vintage sunglass design is a teardrop metal aviator frame offered in four colors matched with carefully chosen, high class polarized glass lenses which are ideal for most favorable vision in all situations. The designer sunglasses became the perfect complement to its optical partner.

The elegant filigreed metal eyewear of both fashion glass frames is a reproduction of the original Oliver Peoples frame – it was created more than 25 before. Also this eyeglass collection embodied all the vintage features the 20’s and 30’s.
After all we can see the great result of working this fashion designer team Oliver Peoples and Takahiro Miyashita.
