Versace Men’s Eyewear Fall / Winter 2013-2014


You have probably already seen Versace ladies eyewear presented during Milan Fashion Week. They were slightly embellished with tiny crystals. But Versace Eyewear for men from fall / winter 2013 -2014 show demonstrates a way higher level of eyewear embellishing.

The runway show started with Jay Gatsby-inspired1920s-style checked suits with each next look being more and more extravagant and opulent. Many garments were made of leather and there was even a sumptuous fur coat.


The whole collection is meant to embody luxury. And so are the sunglasses. Versace men’s sunglasses feature a classic aviator shape and boast lots of decorative details – the temples are generously embellished with sparkling pattern. And the bridge is decorated with leather and a shiny rivet.

The Versace brand is well known for his bold, sexy and stylish clothes and accessories. Versace Eyewear 2012 Fall-Winter / Crystal Medusa


The inspiration to create an exclusive eyewear collection from The Versace fashion House was the brand’s jewelry line. Full of sophistication, femininity and elegance were included into the basis features of the Versace collection – Crystal Medusa. The new eyewear models are designed in a bright style and the incomparable charm and elegance that have always distinguished the unique style of the Versace brand.

The new Crystal Medusa series Versace 2012 Fall-Winter was taken for an ad campaign photographed by Mert Alas and Markus Piggott.

The Crystal Medusa collection consists of two models: sun and optical.



The first model has three-dimensional forms. Glasses were decorated with the metal parts and the Swarovski’s crystals, which stress and release the head of Medusa (the symbol of the fashion House), located on the temples on the model. A bright outline around the logo is moving from light brown to brownish-purple, a graceful style enhance the model.

The second model is made in a vintage style. The brand logo – the head of Medusa – in this model is covered with lacquer and decorated with the Swarovski’s crystals, as well.

Versace Fashion Eyewear Fall-Winter 2012-2013 Campaign

Elza Luijendijk, who makes its way into the previous faces including Gisele Bundchen, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Saskia de Brauw. Versace selects male models Philipp Schmidt, Dmitriy Tanner and Kacey Carrig for its menswear campaign as well.

The black-and-white pictures accent the contrasts between light and shade in the campaign.

After an incredible summer Versace’s sunglasses and eyeglasses campaign 2012 , the company was riding high. The fashion house built about this success through its outlandish print runway collection, which makes it difficult to escape check your grip of Versace throughout the present spring/summer time season. Their signature style is pending over from current traditional collections to designer campaigns to lookbooks.

With this thought, it had been slightly disappointing to determine Versace’s fall/winter 2012 runway show deliver a diluted sort of its summer time collection – simply muting the color palette for any more wintery feel.

New Eyewear | Fashion Versace Spring-Summer 2012 Campaign

Campaign Versace Eyewear Fall-Winter 2011-2012


Candice Swanepoel is riding high this season. In addition to starring in the new campaign for Tom Ford, she shares the scene with the model Sean O’Pry in the ad for the winter line of accessories Italian fashion house Versace, including the new collection of glasses.
Although the images are beautiful, I expected more of the design and style of glasses lying on the ad. I wanted to see something more innovative as the previous season.
