Chanel Spring/Summer 2010 Eyewear

Gabrielle Chanel once said, “The more feminine a woman is, the stronger she is.” This saying is fully exhibited in the Chanel Spring/Summer 2010 eyewear collection. Two signature design elements of the Chanel house, the rough textured, tough natured tweed from Chanel’s famous tweed suits, and the elegant, feminine ribbon Coco Chanel used as hair bands, have been cleverly combined to give a collection that exudes strength and softness.

Glasses with laser-cut mirrors adorning acetate arms complete the collection. Adding sparkle to the darker black, blue and cerise frames in this range, they pay homage to the beautiful mirrored staircase in Coco Chanel’s apartment at 31 rue Cambon.
